Dr. Max Lyons was honored in the field of education at the 23rd Chesapeake MLK Breakfast held January 16, 2023. Dr.Lyons has dedicated his life to making sure that America remains a “shining city on a hill” through Christian Education. He serves at FACE as the Director of Teaching Services and helps many teachers and schools. Bishop E.W. and Theodora Jackson hold this event each year as a symbol of unity and to serve as a tribute and commendation to the people of the city of Chesapeake and its leaders in government, business and the nonprofit sector.
